Terms of Service

Docarion is a healthcare technology platform that provides telehealth consultations, AI-powered health guidance, digital pharmacy services, laboratory orders, and electronic medical records (EMR) across Nigeria and Africa.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• Minors (under 18) may use the platform only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian
• Healthcare providers must hold valid licenses issued by recognized Nigerian regulatory bodies (MDCN, PCN, MLSCN)

• Provide accurate and complete personal and medical information
• Keep your account credentials secure — do not share your password
• Do not use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes
• Report any unauthorized access to your account immediately
• Follow medical advice from certified providers on the platform

Docarion operates as both a telehealth platform and an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Account deletion follows established healthcare record management rules:

• Account deactivation — your login access will be disabled within 48 hours of a verified request
• Personal data anonymization — non-clinical personal data (name, email, phone) will be anonymized within 30 days
• Medical record retention — clinical records, prescriptions, lab results, and consultation notes must be retained per Nigerian medical practice regulations:
  • Adult records: minimum 10 years from last clinical interaction
  • Minor records: until the patient reaches age 25
• 30-day cooling period — you may reverse your deletion request within 30 days

To request account deletion, email support@docarion.com from the email address associated with your account.

Pidgin: If you wan delete your account, send email give us. We go remove your personal data, but your medical record must stay as law require am.

• Consultation fees are displayed before booking and charged upon confirmation
• Pharmacy and laboratory costs are displayed at the point of order
• All payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant payment processors
• Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support within 48 hours
• Docarion wallet funds are non-transferable and non-withdrawable by patients

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Docarion provides the platform “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• We are not liable for medical outcomes resulting from consultations — liability rests with the licensed healthcare provider
• We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to secure credentials
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

• Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith mediation
• If mediation fails, disputes shall be submitted to arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023
• The courts of Lagos, Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
